He's a talented jumping technician
Often called a mercurial magician
With much charm and charismatic style
One of the most talented seen in awhile

Flying footwork is evident in "St. Louis Blues"
His skates could be viewed as sharp tap shoes
Humor appears in a subtle nod of the head
Storytelling does not need to be said

The persona in "Casablanca" he's an elegant guy
With a white dinner jacket and a black bow tie
Quickly tossing away an imaginary cigar
Hope Present, while reaching for a star

"Brickhouse" shows his connection to dance
Circling the rink in reflective, shiny pants
Memories of the '70's, where people were free
To express orignal flow and bend of the knee

Yet his "Serenade to Sonia" was a study in grace
He envisions and cherises a wife's lovely face
A medly of smooth classics from Nat King Cole
Every created movement makes up the whole

He's a talented, jumping technician
Often called a mercurial magician
It is our gift and abundantly clear
Growning in our hearts more each year.
